International tournaments are often useful for clubs to track and discover new players that weren't previously on their radar. The 2021 Copa America hasn't been the exception to the rule as one of Colombia's best players caught the eye of European giants.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with this player over the last few weeks as the Blaugranas are urged for new faces that help them change their fortunes. But they also face a delicate financial situation that doesn't help to upgrade their squad.

That's why their desire to land the Colombia international could be at risk, with Bayern Munich and Chelsea also linked to this player. And, according to reports, his club would demand €80 million to let him leave.

Colombian sensation reportedly valued at €80m amid interest of Barca, Bayern, Chelsea

According to A Bola, Porto have set an €80 million price tag for Colombian midfielder Luis Diaz, who took the limelight in Los Cafeteros' Copa America campaign a few months ago with four goals in five games.

Diaz, 24, landed in Portugal in 2019 for nearly €7 million from Junior and is under contract until June 2024. Even though his market value is €25 million (per Transfermarkt) the Portuguese giants are unwilling to sell their star easily.

A number of teams have reportedly set their sights on him, with Barcelona, Bayern, and Chelsea believed to be leading the race for him. But, with such a price tag, it remains to be seen if any of these sides will actually go after Diaz.
