Turkey squared off against Venezuela in a crucial international friendly, finalizing their preparations for their 2026 World Cup opener against Australia on June 13.

Turkey have taken a 2-1 lead over Venezuela in this crucial international friendly, providing a major boost to their confidence as they finalize preparations for their 2026 World Cup opener against Australia on June 13.

With this result, Turkey carry a winning mentality into their June 13 World Cup debut against Australia. By roaring back from an early deficit against Venezuela to secure the victory, the Crescent-Stars proved they have what it takes to dictate terms and make serious noise in the group stage.
