“@jakepaul see you at dinner to collect my million!” Tyson wrote, celebrating his bet on Taylor to win. The former heavyweight champion had wagered $1 million on the Irish icon to retain her undisputed super lightweight title — a bet Paul took the other way, backing Serrano.
Taylor delivered once again, defeating Serrano by majority decision to take the 2–1 lead in their storied rivalry. The result brought closure to one of the most competitive trilogies in women’s boxing history — and gave Tyson the last laugh in his ongoing rivalry with Paul.
