Kiyan Anthony is following in his father’s steps as he tries to make it to the NBA. But first, he’ll play for the Syracuse Orange, the same team his dad played for during his collegiate career.

Anthony made a strong impact on the Orange, as he left as a national champion during his lone year there. Now, Kiyan is focused on writing his own history before a potential arrival in the NBA.

The level of difficulty he’ll face in college is different and his coach wants him to prepare for the new opponents. Adrian Autry is aware that Kiyan Anthony needs to work on his physique to be college-ready.

ā€œYou can just tell that he loves the game and he loves challenges,ā€ he told Hoops HQ. ā€œHe’s gotten better each year, and he still has room to grow because he physically is not there yet. I’ve seen improvement, big jumps from year to year. He’s a guy who knows how to put the ball in the hole, and he can do other things. He’s not just a scorer, He can pass the ball and has a high IQ.
