The standout performances by Quinn Ewers last season for the Texas Longhorns led him to declare himself eligible for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. With this important event just around the corner, the QB has already scheduled several meetings with prominent franchises in the league.

According to reporter Albert Breer, Ewers will meet in the coming days with members of the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, and Las Vegas Raiders. While this doesn’t necessarily mean the QB will continue his career with any of these three teams, it is important for him to showcase himself not only on the field but also off of it.

ā€œJust as newsworthy is what’s happening around Ewers’s pro day,ā€ Breer wrote on Sports Illustrated. ā€œThe plan is for him to meet with the Jets and Las Vegas Raiders today and have dinner with the New Orleans Saints brass tonight, with all three teams expected to send big crews to Austin. He already has 30 visits set up with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Raiders for early April.ā€

While logically there is still no certainty about where Ewers might land in the coming weeks, the reality is that if he is selected by any of these three teams, his early role will likely be as a backup, with the primary goal of gaining experience.
