However, Charania noted that the Mavericks have reportedly renewed trade talks with multiple interested teams. If moved to a playoff contender, Davis’ return timeline could allow him to rejoin the action during the postseason.

Since joining the team, he has missed 42 games while appearing in only 29, and it appears his time with the Mavericks has reached its conclusion following the injury in Utah.
