NFL News: Aaron Rodgers will reportedly sign with Pittsburgh as top insider doubles down on Steelers quarterback prediction

Aaron Rodgers may finally have found his next NFL home, and it’s in Pittsburgh. According to a leading insider, the Steelers are set to land the four-time MVP, with only the official announcement left to be made.

This Friday, during a special appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Ian Rapoport doubled down on his prediction about Aaron Rodgers and his future with the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to the insider, that deal is going to happen.

“I mean, I will say it again. I will be surprised if it’s not Aaron Rodgers. To me, that is what makes sense. The Steelers are more kind of like: We want him and we hope we get him, but, we just don’t know. I do think they’ve handled this the right way. Making sure everything that happens is exactly as he wants and plans. There really is a ton of time before the season starts. So, there’s some time.”

At the moment, the only thing Rodgers has publicly said is that he has issues within his inner circle and that people close to him are battling cancer. However, just a few days ago, the star gave a major hint about his final decision by saying he might play against the Chicago Bears.

Will Aaron Rodgers play for the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Ian Rapoport stated that he is convinced Aaron Rodgers will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers and that the only thing left to know is when the team will make the official announcement.

The next key date is the mandatory minicamp from June 10 to June 12. However, there have been cases like Brett Favre with Minnesota, where a proven veteran joins the team at the start of training camp in July or August.
