Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers are willing to give Aaron Rodgers more time. According to a report by James Palmer, the team has no issue with the quarterback missing OTAs; however, mandatory minicamp would be a different story.

ā€œThere’s OTAs 27th through the 29th in May and the 3rd through the 5th in June, but, right now, there’s not a rush to have him appear. They’re not upset if he does miss OTAs to my understanding. What we want to look at is mandatory minicamp. That’s when he would probably want to be there and that’s not until June 10th through the 12th.ā€

A few weeks ago, during an interview with Pat McAfee, the Super Bowl champion quarterback admitted that he was still not ready to commit to any team due to problems in his inner circle.

Is Aaron Rodgers going to the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Aaron Rodgers would be going to the Pittsburgh Steelers according to several reports, but the big question is when the official announcement will be made. The player only has that offer, and the other alternative might be retirement.

According to Palmer’s information, the first days of June will be the key date since he doesn’t believe the Steelers can wait for him beyond that point. ā€œMandatory minicamp. That’s something we probably should keep an eye on in terms of the movement of Aaron Rodgers.ā€
