The Packers finished the regular season with an 11-6 record, good enough to qualify for the Wild Card round of the playoffs, where Green Bay was unable to hold off the Philadelphia Eagles, suffering a 10-22 loss to the Super Bowl champions.
The player who could come to the Packers to be Love’s main weapon is none other than wide receiver DK Metcalf, NFL insider Corbin K. Smith reported on his X (formerly Twitter) account. The trade between Seattle and Green Bay could involve the No. 23 pick and another young receiver.
Metcalf’s arrival would be great news for the Packers offense, which would add a two-time Pro Bowl player (in 2020 and 2023). While the Seahawks wide receiver’s production dropped off last year, his level could make him worth the challenge of being a returnable player.

Last season marked Metcalf’s third-lowest statistical season as a professional. He also played the fewest snaps as a starter, making 12 starts. In the 2024 NFL season, he recorded 66 receptions for 992 yards and contributed five touchdowns.
