Aaron Rodgers could soon become a problem for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The quarterback has yet to announce whether he will sign with the team, and according to a report by Tom Pelissero, the locker room is starting to lose patience.
āIf Iām the Steelers, if Iām a player on that team, if Iām a coach on that team, if Iām the owner of that team, I want the circus to happen as soon as possible. There are people in that locker room who I believe would tell you that theyāre already over this entire thing. They just want to know whatās going on. Theyāre sick of hearing about it. Theyāre sick of asking about it. They donāt want to discuss it anymore.ā
Despite his history as a Super Bowl winner, several players on the team, including some veterans, are reportedly tired of the uncertainty around Rodgers. Nevertheless, Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin have decided to wait.
Will Aaron Rodgers join Steelers?
Undoubtedly, that is the question of the offseason. Key dates such as the start of free agency, the 2025 draft, the schedule release, and OTAs have already passed without a response from the quarterback.
The only things left on the calendar are mandatory minicamp in June and training camp in late July or early August. If Rodgers still wants to keep playing, all signs point to him showing up at the last possible moment, using these next few weeks to deal with his personal issues.
