NFL News: Steelers are reportedly growing tired of Aaron Rodgers as star quarterback waits to announce his final decision

Tension is building in Pittsburgh as the Steelers grow increasingly frustrated with Aaron Rodgers' indecision. With the team eager to solidify its quarterback plans for 2025, some veterans are reportedly losing patience, raising questions about how much longer they're willing to wait for Rodgers to make up his mind.

Aaron Rodgers is causing several Pittsburgh Steelers stars to grow tired of his delay. According to a report by Tom Pelissero, veterans like T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward are not happy with the situation, considering the future of the franchise is at stake.

“Cam Heyward said: ‘Hey, you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don’t? I don’t need to make more of a pitch than that.’ That opinion, from everything I’ve been told, is not solely to Cam Heyward. There are other people certainly in the organization, in the locker room, who are just going like: ‘What are we doing?’ We’re back for offseason workouts in ten days. We’re coming up on the draft. What is the plan?”

Although Rodgers would be a great addition to compete for the Super Bowl, many players disagree with his lack of commitment and would be willing to head into next season with another option at quarterback.

Who will be starting quarterback for Steelers?

Mason Rudolph would be the starting quarterback that many veteran players want in the locker room for the Steelers. When the backup got his opportunity in 2023, the team went on a strong run, making it to the playoffs at the last minute.

According to the information, the general feeling in the Pittsburgh locker room is that if Rodgers isn’t fully convinced about what a team like this represents, then it’s time to start looking elsewhere.
