Shedeur Sanders warns rest of the NFL after being rejected by Steelers and other teams in 2025 Draft

After facing rejection from the Pittsburgh Steelers and several other NFL teams during the 2025 Draft, Shedeur Sanders is sending a powerful message to the league. With determination and resilience, he's proving that no setback will define his future.

Shedeur Sanders was not selected in the first round of the 2025 Draft despite all the rumors linking him to teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Giants, and the Cleveland Browns. After a very disappointing night, the Colorado star sent a clear warning.

“We all didn’t expect this of course, but, I feel like with God anything is possible. Everything’s possible. I don’t feel that it just happened, you know, for no reason. All of this is, of course, fuel to the fire and, under no circumstances, we all know this shouldn’t have happened. We understand that we’re on bigger and better things. Tomorrow’s our day. We’re going to be happy regardless. Legendary.”

Now, it seems like the Steelers want to keep waiting for Aaron Rodgers as the key piece to win the Super Bowl and prioritized a major need in that first round with defensive tackle Derrick Harmon.

What team will draft Shedeur Sanders?

The Cleveland Browns have the first pick of the second round on Day 2, and that could be a possible destination for Shedeur Sanders. The Giants have already made their decision as they selected Jaxson Dart, which makes the situation much more complicated for Sanders.

As for the Steelers, Pittsburgh seems out of the race since they don’t have a second-round pick. Another team that has been rumored to have interest is the New Orleans Saints, who have the 40th pick.
