With 12 weeks of the NFL regular season already in the books, it’s pretty safe to state that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been slightly disappointing after signingTom Brady to a 2-year deal in the offseason.

The Bucs are 7-4 and it seems like they just don’t have what it takes to beat winning teams despite having one of the most overpowered offenses in the world. Moreover, the word around the league is that Brady and coach Bruce Arians just don’t get along.

Those rumors only got worst after Arians threw Brady under the bus yet again and Brady cut a press conference short when asked about the subject. That’s why he’s trying to clear the air and speak up on what’s really going on in the locker room.

Tom Brady Says He’s Got A Great Relationship With Bruce Arians

ā€œI’ve got a great relationship with B.A. (Bruce Arians), and we talk every day. I’ve got a lot of respect for him and how he runs the team and so forth,ā€Brady said on Westwood One radio when asked about the matter again.

Tom Brady Blames The Media For The Rumors Of His Feud With Bruce Arians

Obviously, that didn’t stop there, as the media has continued to make a huge story about his relationship with Bruce Arians, so Brady went on to turn the tables and blame the press for that narrative:

ā€œAny time you lose games, a lot of people want to place blame, especially in the media, and they want to pit one player against another player, or a player against a coach and so forth. That’s not been my style,ā€ Brady said, as quoted by the Tampa Bay Times.

ā€œAnd I just think about it from a player’s standpoint. I always think about what I need to do better, and I certainly haven’t played to my level of expectation, and I’ve got to do a better job, and that’s what it comes down to for me,ā€ he added.

ā€œWe’ve put in a lot of work in over the last three or four months, and it’s a production-based business,. So when you win, you get to deal with all the great questions and so forth, and when you lose, you’ve got to deal with the questions of why you’re losing and who’s to blame for losing and all that. But when you’re on the outside, that’s just what you deal with. When you’re on the inside, we don’t think like that,ā€ the 43-year-old concluded.

Whether those statements are true or not is yet to be seen but what it’s clear is that the Buccaneers aren’t going to reach their goals for the season if two of their most important characters aren’t on the same page.
