<p><strong>New Orleans Saints</strong> quarterback/tight end/running back Taysom Hill’s future can be one of the biggest topics for the team in the 2025 NFL offseason. After suffering a season-ending torn ACL in 2024, many wondered what version of Hill would return to the field this year.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The veteran came back strong against the New York Jets in Week 16, showing that he can still get the job done. However, the question about his future remains in the air. <strong>Hill has been with the franchise since 2017,</strong> playing 111 games, going 195 of 308 for 2,426 yards and 12 touchdowns with nine interceptions.&nbsp;</p>



<p>On the ground, he has carried the ball 486 times for 2,551 yards and 34 touchdowns. Additionally, Hill has caught 107 passes for 1,002 yards and 11 touchdowns. <strong>His versatility </strong>has proven crucial for the Saints in recent years, and he isn’t seemingly planning to stop anytime soon.&nbsp;</p>



<h2>Taysom Hill makes clear statement about future with Saints&nbsp;</h2>



<p>After the 29-6 win over the Jets on Sunday, where Hill went 1 of 1 for 38 yards and one touchdown, to go along with 12 carries for 42 yards, the veteran made it clear <strong>he isn’t planning to play for a different NFL team.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>During Monday’s edition of ESPN’s “First Take,” Newton said he is starting to believe in the Patriots, <strong>who hold a 12-3 record</strong> and sit atop the AFC East standings.</p>

NFL analyst Tyrone Johnson took issue with Irsay-Gordon’s antics, accusing her of micromanaging head coach Shane Steichen.</p>

<h2>Bryce Young is heating up at the right time&nbsp;</h2>



<p>After resurging following his benching in 2024,<strong> Bryce Young is doing the same this season. </strong>He has dealt with injuries this time, but his late-season performances show that he is evolving. Panthers analyst Edgar Salmingo Jr. shared on Tuesday that Young was one from Weeks 1-10, ranking low in most QB stats, including turnovers and total touchdowns. </p>

<p>From Week 11 until this point, he ranks first in fumbles (last fumbled in Week 11), <strong>fifth in interceptions and fourth in total touchdowns.&nbsp;</strong></p>



<p>It’s been argued that the Panthers must move on from Young at the end of the season, but he is on the verge of taking his team to the postseason. The Seahawks (12-3) <strong>aren’t an easy opponent by any means, </strong>but the Panthers have shown they aren’t an easy win for anybody.&nbsp;</p>

However, after beating <strong>Andy Reid</strong> and the <strong>Kansas City Chiefs</strong> in Week 17 Christmas game, <strong>Denver Broncos</strong> head coach <strong>Sean Payton</strong> overcame the odds and tied all time great <strong>Bill Belichick</strong> in quite the unique category.</p>



<p>According to NFL+, <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/sean-payton" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sean Payton</a> became the second coach in NFL history to win 13+ games in at least five seasons</strong>. The other only coach to do so is the legendary Bill Belichick, who in fact did it seven separate times (2003, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017).</p>



<p>As for Chiefs’ <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/andy-reid" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Andy Reid</a>, he has four. <strong>Payton managed to do it in 2009, 2011, 2018, 2019 and now 2025.</strong> However, if Payton gets a win in Week 18, it would be the first time he has a 14-win season.</p>



<h2>Belichick won’t add any more to his record</h2>



<p>Now the UNC coach, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/bill-belichick" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Belichick</a> is probably never going to return to the NFL. <strong>Hence, his seven seasons are pretty much set in stone</strong>. As for Payton, there is plenty of time for him to catch up to him. </p>

However, it will take a lot as he is in a very tough division where he will fight with Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, and Jim Harbaugh, Justin Herbert and the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/los-angeles-chargers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chargers</a> for the foreseeable future. Still, Payton has accomplished an incredible feat with the Broncos this season.</p>

<h2>What other coaches are near this feat?</h2>



<p>As mentioned before, Andy Reid has four seasons with 13+ wins. Besides him, there is work to be done. Among active NFL coaches, <strong>Mike Tomlin only has one 13-win season, such as Pete Carroll. John Harbaugh has two</strong>.</p>



<p><strong>Sean McDermott has three of those seasons</strong>, while Sean McVay has only one. Kyle Shanahan has two, and Jim Harbaugh has one. However, there is one intriguing name. <strong>In only seven years as a head coach, Matt LaFleur has three 13-win seasons already</strong>, therefore, he is poised to get at least two more in his career.</p>

<p>Travis Kelce has not yet confirmed whether he will retire, but he has given many hints that this could be his final season. The tight end was seen very emotional at Arrowhead Stadium during the game against the Broncos, which could be a sign that he is preparing to say goodbye.</p>

That was the plan</strong>, and it was just an oddball formation to run a no-brainer freeze from. Especially on the road</em>,” Payton said. That pretty much reaffirmed the “<em>doesn’t have to be aesthetically pleasing</em>” idea.</p>

<h2>The Broncos still haven’t won the AFC West</h2>



<p>Despite being 13-3, the Broncos haven’t sealed their divisional title. In fact, they could very well lose it. Right now, the Chargers hold an 11-4 record, but if they beat the Texans, <strong>they will be one game away from the Broncos, and they hold the tiebreaker against Denver</strong>.</p>



<p>And as poetic as the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> is, the Broncos host the Chargers in Week 18 for the divisional title. This of course depends on the Chargers beating the Texans on Saturday. <strong>This might not only define the AFC West, but also the first seed in the AFC.</strong></p>
