TheUEFA competitions areannual tournaments organized by the European organization UEFA. They arecontested by the best clubs in Europe and they areone of the worldâs most-watched tournaments. At the present time, the Spanish La Liga is sitting on top of theUEFA rankings ahead of the EnglishPremier League, the German Bundesliga, the and Italian SerieA. Theresults are basedon the performances of the Spanish clubs over afive-year span in European contests.

Real Madrid has won 22 titles so far, followed by Milanâs 17 titles, and they are the two clubs with the most European titles. Spanish teams lead all three major tournaments:Real Madrid have 13 European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles; Sevilla have sixUEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League titles, and Barcelona have fourCup Winnersâ Cup trophies.
Barca and Milan both share the greatest number ofSuper Cups won (five), while the Italian side andReal Madrid are tied with three Intercontinental Cups. Meanwhile, theUEFA Intertoto Cup have four clubs tied in first place by titles won, German clubs Hamburg, Schalke 04 and Stuttgart, and the Spanish sideVillarrealhave each managed to lift the trophy twice.
The only teams to have grabbedallof UEFAâs three majorcompetitions (European Cup/UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League, and Cup Winnersâ Cup)are Juventus, Ajax, Bayern, Chelsea, and Manchester United. Interestingly, the Serie A side are the only onewho have lifted a trophy in every UEFA club competition, including theSuper Cup, the Intertoto Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup.
