Barcelona have won the 2024-25 La Liga title after defeating Espanyol 2-0, which mathematically sealed their win with two more matches remaining. In that sense, Lamine Yamal has also won his second domestic league title, putting him in an interesting comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also clinched only two leagues in his time in Spain.

However, unlike Yamal, who has won LaLiga in his two first seasons with Barcelona, the Portuguese star played nine seasons with Real Madrid. His first title came in the 2011-12 season, his third in Spain, in which Los Blancos won the title with three matches left and a record-breaking 100 points. Ronaldo scored 46 goals, but ended second in the Pichichi race, as Lionel Messi scored 50 goals.

He had to wait five years to win another LaLiga, with Madrid winning the title once more in 2017. In that season, Ronaldo scored 25 goals, finishing third in the goalscorer table, led by Messi with 37 goals. Luis Suarez was second with 28 units.
