Brazil will arrive at the Copa America 2021 looking to pick up from where they left off and defend the title claimed two years ago, once again at home. Tité's boys will return to the field trying to prove their strength in the continent and to keep winning accolades.

The reigning champions have taken full advantage of the last South American contest that took part in their territory, making their way to the grand final and lifting the trophy in front of a packed Maracana. Will they retain their crown in the upcoming tournament?

The nine-time winners of this competition will be making their debut soon, and they will want to do it on the right foot. As the 47th edition of the national team soccer oldest contest is around the corner, let's take a look at the date, time, and stadium for Brazil's first game in the upcoming Copa America.

When will Brazil's first game in the Copa America 2021 be played?

To begin their path towards a back-to-back championship, Brazil will face Venezuela in the opening game of Copa America 2021. La Verde-amarela and La Vinotinto have a long history of facing each other.

Brazil have been dominant, winning 22 of the 25 games they've played, while Venezuela have beaten the Auriverde just once in an International Friendly in 2008. They will be in the same group for the second consecutive Copa America. The last time they met, Tité's team won 1-0 in a game for the World Cup Qualifiers.

Where will Brazil play their first match in Copa America 2021?

Brazil's first game in the Copa America 2021 against Venezuela will take place at the Estadio Mané Garrincha in Brasilia. The second-largest stadium in the country, this venue has already hosted significant events throughout its life.
