Matchday 8 of the European World Cup Qualifiers 2022 concluded on Tuesday and the tournament won't return until November for the final fixtures of each side. Here, check out the results and the standings.

As usual, Cristiano Ronaldo took all the limelight as he scored his tenth international hat-trick (an all-time record) during Portugal's fascinating win over Luxembourg. Meanwhile, England dropped two points at home to Hungary, and Denmark beat Austria to continue their amazing run.
