Fabián Coito’splayerstook part in just twoInternational Friendlies last year. They ended the year winless, as they first drew 1-1 toNicaragua. Then, they lost 2-1 to Guatemala. Both games were played in November 2020.
This year, they will finally face the challenges they have been preparing for in2020: The 2020 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Championship. They will also participate in the2019-20 CONCACAF Nations Leagueplayed from September 5, 2019, to June 2021. Due to the coronavirus pandemic,the two final phaseswere moved to June 2021. Honduras will facethe US men’s national teamonJune 4 in the Semi-Final of the rescheduled2019-20 CONCACAF Nations League. The kick-off time is set for 6:30 PM (ET), at the BBVA Stadium in Houston, USA. The winner of the clash will face the winner of Mexico vs Costa Rica in the Final.
