Panama will host Costa Rica at Estadio Rommel FernĆ”ndez for Matchday 1 of the Final Round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifying 2022. Panama havenāt played a competitive match since the Gold Cup, while Costa Rica prepared for this International window with a friendly against El Salvador (0-0).
The Octagonal will feature eight national teams part of Concacaf, who will be looking for a place in the next World Cup in Qatar 2022. While three will have direct tickets, the fourth will have to play a play-off with a rival from either the AFC (Asia), Conmebol (South America) or Oceania.
