Following a busy transfer window, Arsenal are alreadylooking ahead of themselves consideringtheir next moves for certain players. An expensive contract expires at the end of the season and theywouldn’t be interested in renewing it.

The Gunners, who have struggled to be competitiveover the last few years, continue in rebuild mode and more players could see the exit door in the next transfer markets. One of those departing names was reportedly offered to Serie A giants AC Milan.

Mikel Arteta had slowly made an overhaul of the squad he inherited in 2019 but he’d still have to move forward with the clearout. This summer, Arsenal have spent over €175m ($200 million) in new arrivals but it’s time for some players to pack their bags.

AC Milan are reportedly offered Arsenal star who makes €9m per season

The 2021-22 season is just getting started and there’s still a long way to go for next summer. But some situations seem to be heading to a predictable ending. For instance, Alexandre Lacazette is running out of contract in June 2022 and he might not renewwith Arsenal.

Having arrived at the Emirates in 2017 for €53 million($61m) from Lyon, the French striker hasn’t entirely lived up to expectations in North London andhasn’t been a first-choice for Arteta lately.

According to Calciomercato, Lacazette has been offered to AC Milan, who would only have to agreeon personal terms with the 30-year-old. However, the Rossoneri would be unable to afford his current €9m wage ($10.44m). Instead, the Italian side would go as high as €5 million ($5.80m).

Lacazette has been an unused substitute in Arsenal’s last three games and has only made one Premier League appearance this term. His future seems to be no longer at the Emirates but he’ll probably won’t struggle to find a new destination, as he has been linked to other teams besides Milan. Will the Serie A side make the effort to land him?
