It has not been an easy transfer window for Barcelona, who have mostly landed free agent players amid a delicate financial situation and saw club legend Lionel Messi leave to join PSG. However, should they receive a tempting offer for Martin Braithwaite, the Cules would be back in the transfer market.

Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, Memphis Depay, and Emerson Royale have arrived at Camp Nou this summer. But Messi's departure has been a huge blow and, with Aguero out for the beginning of the 2021-2022 season, Ronald Koeman had mentioned he would be willing to land another striker.

Braithwaite, 30, got off to an impressive start to the new campaign scoring a brace in Barca's 4-2 win over Real Sociedad, but his arrival has never convinced fans. Therefore, if they receive the right offer for him, Barcelona would sell him and go after another forward. According to Sport, the Catalans have set their sights on these two Arsenal stars.

It is not the first time Barcelona are linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The 32-year-old has been a complete standout for Arsenal since joining them in January 2018, for a $70.13 million fee, but last season things went downhill for him.

Auba has quickly become the team's most prominent player and carried it almost all by himself for a long time. But in 2020-2021 his form decreased, scoring just 10 goals in the Premier League after signing a contract extension until 2023. He would be eager to join Barca, and his best days at Arsenal might be way behind him.

Alexandre Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette's talent is undeniable, but he hasn't completely lived up to expectations in north London. Arsenal paid $58.30 million to Olympique Lyon to acquire Laca in 2017, but despite showing glimpses of his talent, he struggled to be the dependable striker the Gunners were looking for.

The Frenchman is entering the final year of his contract with Arsenal so both parties might consider parting ways before he leaves for free. However, Barcelona would be unable to afford either player's transfer fee, so they would have to propose swapping players with the English side.
