Thefourth round of theSouth America FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers took place on Tuesday, with five exciting soccer matches. Brazil continued with their perfect pace with a new win, while Ecuador clinched an outstanding victory over Colombia. The fourth round began with Ecuador demolishing Colombia6-1 in Quito in the most surprising result in the competition so far. At the same time, Venezuela defeatedChile 2-1 at home to improve their position in the standings.

Later on, leaders Brazil extended their winning run with a 2-0 away victory over Uruguay, while Argentina defeated Peru 2-0 in Lima to stay close to the top. In the other game of the day, Paraguay and Bolivia drew 2-2 in Asunción.
