South American World Cup Qualifiers 2022 Schedule: Matchday 11, 5 and 12

On Thursday, the South American World Cup Qualifiers 2022 return with a long-awaited triple-header of exciting duels. 10 countries fight against each other onroad to Qatar 2022, with the top four teams qualifying directly and the fifthteam needing to compete in a play-off.

There is no Group Stage here, but the eight remaining teams are placed in a single table. At the moment,Brazil sit on top of the table with 24 points in eight games, leaving behind Argentina, Uruguay, and Ecuador in the top 4 positions. The fifth-place goes to Colombia with 13 points in nine matches.

The Premier League teams refusedto release their players during the September international break, sothe four Argentina players that went ahead and flew to Brazil,encountered a contentious scenario with local health officials entering the pitch, forcing the game to be postponed.
