Matchday 3 of Copa America 2021 will resume this Monday, June 21, with a thrilling match between Uruguay and Chile at Arena Pantanal. Uruguay needs a win after losing 1-0 against Argentina, while Chile wants to keep in the top of the group with La Albiceleste.

La Celeste didn’t have a good start in the tournament this Friday. They couldn’t do any damage to Argentina, and La Albiceleste took the victory with a lonely goal from Guido Rodríguez in the first half. Uruguay didn’t have any attempt to score and against La Roja they will have to change that.

On the contrary, Chile got a difficult win against Bolivia with a lonely goal from Ben Brereton, who is one of the Copa America players who weren't born in South America.  With the victory, Chile is tied at the top of the group with Argentina. A win could secure their spot in the last eight.

Uruguay has received criticism due to their lack of goals. They have 378 minutes without scoring. Against Argentina, they didn’t even have any shots on goal. Oscar Washington Tabarez keeps on trusting Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani to end that drought soon.

The confirmed lineup of Uruguay will be: Fernando Muslera; Giovanni Gonzalez, José María Giménez, Diego Godín, Matías Viña; Matías Vecino; Federico Valverde, Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Nicolas De La Cruz; Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez.

Chile’s starting eleven will be: Claudio Bravo; Gary Medel, Guillermo Maripan, Francisco Sierralta; Mauricio Isla, Arturo Vidal, Erick Pulgar, Charles Aranguiz, Eugenio Mena; Ben Brereton, Eduardo Vargas.
