Terry Bradshaw seems to have changed his mind about Aaron Rodgers after watching him throw four touchdown passes for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their first game of the 2025 season against the New York Jets.

After having criticized Rodgers’ arrival in Pittsburgh a few months ago, his tone was completely different during an interview with 103.7 The Buzz: “I thought he played great. I thought he moved well. Four touchdown passes. I just hope he keeps playing like that. As good as Aaron was, I was shocked by how bad the defense was. Jalen Ramsey comes over at corner, I thought they would play much better.”

The latest statements from the four-time Super Bowl champion contrast with what he said about Aaron last May, when rumors about the Steelers’ interest in Rodgers were gaining traction: “That’s a joke. That to me is just a joke. What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me? That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”

What did Terry Bradshaw say about Aaron Rodgers?

After the game against the Jets, Terry Bradshaw said that signing Aaron Rodgers seemed like a very good move by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In just four months, his opinion on the matter changed radically.

“Looks like it was a good move for Pittsburgh signing Aaron Rodgers. We’ll see as the season progresses. I don’t think Aaron played poorly at all. I never have thought that. You give him time and some weapons and they could be something special.”
