More often than not, we see quarterbacks retiring from the NFL even though a lot of people think that they still have a lot left to give. We saw it recently with Andrew Luck or even veterans like Carson Palmer.
Other players like Peyton Manning or Drew Brees almost until their arms fall off their bodies, but that’s the exception to the rule. The truth is that no superstar wants to look washed out there and stain their legacy.
That’s what’s happening to Cam Newton. He recently admitted that, out of pure pride, he’s not considering retirement from the league after the poor season he had with the New England Patriots, citing that ‘there aren’t 32 guys that are better than him right now’.
While it seems like he may no longer have a shot at becoming a starter, his point could be valid. That’s why today, we’re going to rank every single starting quarterback in the NFL after the 2020 season.
Every Starting Quarterback In The NFL, Ranked:
32. Daniel Jones

So yeah, it seems like Cam is not the worst you could do if you’re looking for a starting quarterback, but that doesn’t mean that he’s still got what it takes to lead a team to a Super Bowl. Hopefully, he’ll prove us wrong.
