Ronaldo’s Juvewerethe first to be drawn in2020-21 UEFA Champions League Group G, followed by Messi’s Barca. This means that in the group stage we will see two incredible duels of great rivals and old acquaintances from La Liga.

The two were competitors in Spain for almost a decade, since 2009. However, whenRonaldo moved to Italy in summer 2018, it was rarely believed that we would have them on stage against each other ever again.

The last clashbetween Messi and Ronaldo was on May 6, 2018, when Barcelona hosted Real Madrid. The match ended 2-2, and both of them scored a goal.
