La Liga is the greatest soccer competition in Spain and one of the most prestigious leagues in the world. Since its inception in the 1928-1929 season, it has only been halted three times.

Real Madrid are La Liga kings, as they were crowned 34 times, whileBarcelona are a bit behind as they have lifted 26 domestic league trophies. Atletico Madrid stand far from such an amount of titles, as they hold 11 so far.

The list ain’t much longer, as we have Athletic Bilbao with eight, as they were a force in the early years of the tournament, while Valencia have six, and Real Sociedad with two.
