Mike Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight champion, made a surprising return to the ring at 58 years old last November. The fight, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Texas, saw Tyson face off against Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

This bout marked Tyson’s first in nearly two decades, but despite his legendary status, he struggled against the much younger Paul, who is over 30 years his junior. Tyson was defeated by unanimous decision, which led to his subsequent announcement of final retirement from boxing.

Now, as Jake Paul continues his boxing journey, Tyson was asked about his thoughts on the 28-year-old’s future in the sport, particularly whether Paul could go on to win a world title. Tyson, never one to shy away from speaking his mind, didn’t hesitate to provide an honest response when asked.

Paul’s upcoming fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., a former WBC middleweight champion, on Saturday, June 28, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, will be another test for the 28-year-old. A win could push Paul closer to a world title shot, although Chavez, at 39 years old, has seen his career falter since his time as the WBC middleweight champion from 2011 to 2012.
