Of course, it didn’t take long before some fans argued that the lottery was rigged, stating that the NBA had rewarded the Mavericks for trading Luka Doncic to the biggest market in the league to save the ratings.

That narrative is full of holes, but even if that were the case, the fans will most definitely have a blast watching Flagg, Kyrie, and Anthony Davis dominate for years to come.
