Pierce has fired hot takes left and right against the Miami Heat, LeBron James, and even went as far as to say that he had a better career than Dwyane Wade, who won more rings and piled up more accolades than him throughout his playing days.
The Truth even asked the Boston Celtics to ‘Beat The Heat’ on social media, referring to the slogan from their playoff matchups during the Big 3 era. Obviously, The Flash wasn’t going to let a chance to mock him slip away.

That’s why the 3-time NBA Champion didn’t waste a single second to call out Paul Pierce on social media, posting a video telling him ‘he knows where he lives’ and asking him ‘where he at’ following the Celtics’ elimination.
Wade was Miami Heat’s number-1 fan during their playoff run, attending one game as a virtual fan and being a bit of a play-by-play commentator and analyst through his Twitter account over the past couple of days.
Wade Says He’ll Root For Miami, Not LeBron
It goes without saying that Dwyane Wade is the greatest icon in Miami Heat history, even ahead of Udonis Haslem. That’s why he admitted that even though he loves his best friend LeBron James, he’ll be rooting for Heat Nation when they meet in the Finals.
As for Paul Pierce, well, he’s been under fire for a couple of hours now and it’s not likely that Wade is ever going to let this little beef go away. At the end of the day, Pierce was the one who started it.
