Super Bowl LV is going to bring us one of the most star-studded matchups in NFL history. Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Tyreek Hill, Ronald Jones III, Tyrann Mathieu, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Jason Pierre-Paul are just some of the names that we’ll see on the gridiron when the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off at Raymond James Stadium.

But perhaps one of the most interesting matchups we can think of ahead of this game is the one between Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce, two of the greatest tight ends of all time and two future Hall of Famers.

Gronk was the most dominant guy at that spot during his time with the New England Patriots. Now, however, Kelce has taken the torch for him and posting unprecedented, videogame kind of numbers.

Rob Gronkowski Takes His Hat Off To Travis Kelce

That’s why the former New England Patriots star had no choice but to tip his hat off to Kelce ahead of their clash in the Super Bowl, claiming that he’s the only player he’s seen get better every single game out there:

“One thing that’s very intriguing about Travis Kelce, and I’ve never really seen this with any other player in the NFL ever before, is that Kelce gets better every single year that I’ve seen him play in the NFL,” Gronkowski told the media.

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently favored by 3 points but not even the most renownedanalysts want to make a prediction ahead of one of the most promising Super Bowls of all time.

What we can be sure about, however, is that both teams will only go as far as their quarterbacks take them, and that’s why both Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce will have a huge load on their shoulders, both as blockers and pass-catchers.
