Aaron Rodgers sent a clear message to Pittsburgh Steelers fans. During an interview with Pat McAfee, the quarterback stated that, in what could be his final year in the NFL, he will give everything for the black and gold team.

“While I’m in it, and it’s for this year, I’m going to give the Steelers everything that I got and empty the tank. Be super comfortable and satisfied with whatever happens. Obviously, we dream playing at the highest level in the biggest games.”

The Steelers are one of the big question marks heading into the 2025 season. Although they don’t seem to be on the same tier as the Chiefs, Bills, and Ravens in the AFC, Rodgers could help them make a significant leap in quality.

Can Steelers win Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers?

Aaron Rodgers isn’t chasing a Super Bowl, although the quarterback did admit he’s preparing to play 20 games. His greatest desire is to wear one of the most iconic jerseys in NFL history.

“The fact that I can come back to Pittsburgh, play for Mike Tomlin, get to know the organization, be a part of a special franchise and be able to play and follow in the footsteps of Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, Jack Lambert, Joe Greene, Jerome Bettis, Big Ben, all time greats. Just to be a guy that can put on the same uniform is pretty special for me. That’s all I need this year. Just go out there and have a chance to compete. That’s why I’m working so hard. I want to put myself in a position to be able to play 20 games this year. 20 great ones.”
