Aaron Rodgers warns entire NFL about a hidden gem in 2025 draft who’s ready to become a star

While most eyes are locked on the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, Aaron Rodgers is looking elsewhere. In a recent interview, the future Hall of Famer singled out an unexpected name he believes is flying under the radar.

Aaron Rodgers admitted in an interview with Pat McAfee that he is not concerned about the Pittsburgh Steelers signing a quarterback in the upcoming draft. The star said he hasn’t watched film on any prospect, but during his training session at UCLA, he noticed which player could be the next NFL star: Ashton Jeanty.

“I did see the running back from Boise State. He was at UCLA the day that DK and I worked out. He’s a specimen. He’s put together well. I think he’s probably going Top 10. He passes the eye test for sure.”

Last season, Saquon Barkley found redemption for the running back position by leading the Eagles on their path to the Super Bowl. Because of that, Jeanty’s odds have risen significantly in recent weeks.

What team will draft Ashton Jeanty?

Most mock drafts indicate that the Las Vegas Raiders will select Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 pick. However, depending on what happens with Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter, the Patriots are not ruling out taking the Boise State running back at the No. 4 spot.

What is certain, as Aaron Rodgers mentioned, is that experts agree he won’t fall beyond the Top 10. In a very interesting detail, Jeanty has said that his favorite team is the Cowboys, but the problem for Dallas is that they have the 12th pick, and it doesn’t seem like Ashton will be available by then.
