It seems that the good news about Aaron Rodgers keeps coming for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jeremy Fowler explains in his latest report that several NFL coaches believe the quarterback will have a great 2025 season.

“They see the Steelers as a vastly better team now than they were just a couple of months ago. These coaches say that he could play last year, especially the Jet’s coaches that I talked to. They were more than happy with the way he played and they feel like Year 2, coming off that Achilles tear, he’ll be even better.”

That’s the Steelers’ bet: win-now mode despite Rodgers’ age, considering he could be the key piece to becoming Super Bowl contenders. According to what many coaches saw in 2024, that might be possible.

Who will be starting QB for Steelers?

Aaron Rodgers will be the starting quarterback for the Steelers, and in recent weeks, several reports have pointed out that the Jets’ record hid his solid individual performance during the 2024 season.

The veteran threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Those numbers were very similar to Patrick Mahomes’ with the Kansas City Chiefs in a season where Andy Reid’s team reached the Super Bowl.
