NFL News: Aaron Rodgers might be in trouble as Mike Tomlin and Steelers schedule visit with another star quarterback

In a surprising turn of events, Aaron Rodgers' future with Pittsburgh could be in jeopardy as the Steelers, led by Mike Tomlin, set their sights on a potential game-changer. With a scheduled visit to meet with the star quarterback, the Steelers are making a bold move that could shake up the NFL landscape.

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue thinking long-term as they wait for Aaron Rodgers to decide what his future will be. As anticipated, the team will be very aggressive in the next draft, or in 2026, trying to find their franchise quarterback.

Now, a report from Mike DeFabo confirms that a visit from Jaxson Dart has been scheduled. “Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart has a Top 30 visit scheduled with the Pittsburgh Steelers in April, per league source.”

Although Rodgers is the best option to compete for the Super Bowl next season, Tomlin has grown tired of changing his quarterback room every year, so Dart sounds like a strong candidate.

Will Aaron Rodgers play for Steelers?

Aaron Rodgers could play for the Steelers, but he has not yet made a final decision. In light of this, Pittsburgh signed Mason Rudolph as a security blanket in case a transition is needed.

However, the plan is clear: to draft a quarterback soon. For this reason, in recent days, names like Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, and Jaxson Dart have emerged as possibilities in the first round.
