There’s absolutely no denying that Antonio Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL by a long stretch. However, his antics on and off the gridiron made him one of the most infamous players in recent memory.

Brown’s tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers came to a drastic end after countless issues in the locker room. Then, he forced his way out of the Las VegasRaiders, even leaking a private conversation with his coach.

He later joinedTom Brady and the New England Patriots but the team had to let him go following a sexual assault investigation and, up to this day, he’s still serving an 8-game suspension from the NFL.

Antonio Brown Drawing Interest From The Houston Texans, Other Teams Keeping Tabs On Him

However, considering how poorly they’re started the season, it seems like the Houston Texans are actually interested in bringing the All-Pro receiver at some point, with other teams also keeping an eye on him, as reported by Texans’ insider Aaron Wilson.

ā€œNothing imminent or developing this time with Texans and free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown, according to team sources. Several teams continue to monitor and evaluate Brown, 32, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection who is currently serving an eight-game NFL suspension,ā€ Wilson said.

Coach O’Brien Didn’t Rule Out The Signing

Obviously, coach Bill O’Brien didn’t want to get into details about whether the team is looking to bring Antonio Brown for a tryout or not. However, he didn’t rule out the chance of signing a reinforcement.

ā€œI would never discuss anything in that regard. Right now, we’re very satisfied with what we have. You never say never to anything. I don’t anticipate anything whether that player or any other player,ā€ O’Brien said.

The Texans are 0-2 and have clearly struggled without a downfield threat like DeAndre Hopkins, so adding Brown could make a lot of sense from a purefootball standpoint. As for whether he deserves another chance or not, it’s not up to us to decide.
