DK Metcalf is now officially a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. During his introductory press conference, the star wide receiver was asked if Mike Tomlin had mentioned anything about Aaron Rodgers being the future quarterback of the team.

“They made me feel like they had the right decision with who was going to be throwing me the football. I’m not making the decision in the quarterback room. So, I’m just going to try to do the best of my abilities to help whoever they have out there throwing the football. They make the correct decisions to bring the quarterback in here. So, I’m just going to roll with that.”

The Steelers could be Super Bowl contenders with an extraordinary wide receiver duo like Metcalf and George Pickens. However, the lack of a starting quarterback has created a lot of uncertainty.

Who will be the Steelers quarterback?

Aaron Rodgers has received an offer to be the quarterback for the Steelers, but the veteran has yet to respond and is currently considering other options, such as the New York Giants or even the Minnesota Vikings. Metcalf stated that he will not try to convince him, as that is the job of the team’s front office.

“This is a historic organization. They’ve done the recruiting before I even got here. So, whoever wants to come here and try to win as many games as we can, they can join us. But if not, good luck on the other side.”
