No. Ben Roethlisberger confirmed that he never considered coming out of retirement after playing 18 years for the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the quarterback admitted on the Nateland Podcast that he did receive a call to replace Aaron Rodgers with the Jets in 2023.
âWhen guys go down, your agent will get a call. When Aaron got hurt in New York with his Achilles, my agent would be like: âHey, any interest?â Iâm like: âZero.â I was watching the game when he went down and then sure enough I get a text like: âHey, before I get these calls, any interest?â I was like: âNo. Iâm golfing. Iâm good.â It happens all the time (agents getting calls).â
