It has been a hectic few hours for the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 NFL offseason. Head coach Kevin Stefanski continues to build the roster for the upcoming campaign while searching for a starting quarterback. Meanwhile, one of the team’s potential key weapons has been sent to the Tennessee Titans.

It’s not easy to retain players who are not regular starters. Even if a head coach plans to gradually include them on the field, the possibility of finding a new destination sometimes prevails. That’s what happened with a wide receiver from the Browns who moved to Tennessee.

The player who left Stefanski’s Browns to join the Titans is none other than wide receiver James Proche, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Ravens and has played 62 games in his NFL career (only one as a starter).

Titans confirm another signing

It was a Wednesday of confirmations for the Titans, who are eager for the upcoming draft where they hold the first overall pick. At the same time, they remain determined to be an active franchise during the offseason in order to put behind a very poor overall performance in 2024.

Despite his limited experience, Boyle has been unable to establish himself with any team, playing only 23 games in his career, with just five starts. He spent two years with the Green Bay Packers alongside Rodgers and then had brief stints with the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and New York Giants.
