Quinshon Judkins witnessed his marvelous rookie season come to a crushing end in Week 16 of the NFL season. After the 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski delivered very upsetting news on <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/shedeur-sanders">Shedeur Sanders</a>’ key teammate.

Judkins sustained the season-ending — potentially career-altering — injury when catching a pass behind the line of scrimmage from Sanders. The national champion with the Buckeyes proved that staying in the state of Ohio was well worth it. All the concerns Stefanski and the Browns showed about the starting quarterback job between Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders were nonexistent when it came to Judkins.

Having said that, now they will have to see how Judkins recovers. In the end, leg injuries are running back killers. Judkins is young and might recover perfectly, but it also raises some concerns.

Just a couple of years ago, Nick Chubb was arguably the best running back in the NFL. However, the then-Browns RB suffered a gruesome injury against the Steelers. He was never the same after that.

Now, coming off a three-interception outing against the Bears, Sanders knows he has some ground to make up. Especially in the completion-percentage department. So far in the NFL, Sanders has completed just 52.2% of his throws, which has been a source of concern. <h2>Signs of progress</h2>



Though Cleveland hasn’t exactly been on a tear since Sanders was named QB1, the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/cleveland-browns">Browns</a> did look the best they did all season long in the NFL. For once, the offense actually showed its teeth. It may not be enough to strike fear into the ret of the league, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Sanders will still be deployed for the rest of the season and he has shown upside. His next three games will put Shedeur in a spot to deliver. He is facing the Bills defense, the Steelers defense and the Bengals defense. He should be able to score on them or at least look better than today.
