Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have been very active just days before the start of their mandatory minicamp. Of course, the big news is that Aaron Rodgers will be their new quarterback and will be present next week to join his teammates.
However, that doesn’t mean everything is settled for general manager Omar Khan. The Steelers need to strengthen several positions, especially wide receiver after the departure of George Pickens.
Additionally, in their effort to be Super Bowl contenders, more moves are still required to strengthen the roster. Just as Rodgers’ arrival is reported, Pittsburgh has confirmed two transactions.
Who did Steelers release?
The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed that they have released defensive back Joshuah Bledsoe. Additionally, the team also officially announced that tight end Donald Parham Jr. is out for the entire 2025 season due to an Achilles injury.
Who did the Steelers just sign?
The Steelers just signed Quindell Johnson. The official announcement was made this Thursday, and the safety will play in Pittsburgh after his time with the Los Angeles Rams and, more recently, with the Chicago Bears and 49ers.
