Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue making moves on their roster ahead of their long awaited first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In an official statement, the Steelers confirmed they have waived long snapper Tucker Addington and guard Nick Broeker. At the same time, Tomlin announced they signed quarterback Logan Woodside and Andrus Peat, who will provide depth to the offensive line.

“We acquired Peat in the offensive line. He’s a versatile veteran. He has played both guard and tackle. We’ve absorbed some attrition in those spaces. So, a veteran with multi-positional experience is an asset. I’m glad to have him aboard.”

Who just got signed to Steelers?

Andrus Peat just signed with the Steelers to help the offensive line, one of the units that has been most questioned in recent weeks. Inexperience and injuries could be factors that might derail this key component and, as a result, complicate things for Aaron Rodgers.

Peat was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2015 Draft (13th overall pick) and stayed in New Orleans for nine seasons. He was a three-time Pro Bowler there. In 2024, he played for the Las Vegas Raiders.
