Aaron Rodgers did not confirm whether he will sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers during an interview with Pat McAfee, but something that could be seen as a positive sign for the team is how the quarterback praised his training session with DK Metcalf.
“I wanted to do due diligence with this whole process and part of it is talking to a guy like DK. Let me just say this, what a great dude who loves football. I mean, what a specimen this guy is. I’ve had a few conversations with DK. I just think he’s a super guy.”
At the moment, no one knows if Rodgers will choose the Steelers, wait for the Minnesota Vikings, or possibly consider retirement due to the issues in his inner circle that the star confirmed in that conversation.
Where will Aaron Rodgers play for?
Aaron Rodgers still doesn’t know where he will play next season. However, one of the hints he dropped is that the session with Metcalf was to personally get to know someone who could become one of his most important teammates with the Steelers.
“Part of the process is just seeing how my body is, how it responds and how I feel. I’m 41 years old. I wanted to see how it felt to throw with DK and how the juices felt now that ball came out. Just all those little things and also just get to know DK. Like I said, that’s a really good human being. He’s just a really respectful dude and an absolute specimen. He’s accomplished a lot in the league and I’ve enjoyed getting to know him a little bit throwing to him. What a talented guy he is.”
