Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers reached an agreement with Will Howard, and the rookie quarterback has officially signed a four-year contract. After being selected in the sixth round of the 2025 Draft, the Ohio State star expressed excitement about the opportunity.

The Steelers are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers, but if the veteran doesnāt sign with the team, Howard could have an open competition with Mason Rudolph for the starting job in Pittsburgh.
Who will be the starting quarterback for Steelers in 2025?
If Aaron Rodgers turns down the Steelers, Mason Rudolph would be at the top of the depth chart at least heading into training camp and preseason. However, Will Howard could prove that heās ready for an opportunity, although the coaching staff has warned that they want to bring him along slowly.
