It’s clear that the wide receiver position was a weak spot in terms of depth for the Steelers last year. However, this flaw has been addressed in recent days, with the addition of DK Metcalf and the re-signing of Scotty Miller, joining George Pickens and Calvin Austin III.

Although finalizing A-Rod’s signing is the Steelers’ main mission, Tomlin is working on designing the roster for the upcoming season, with the goal of winning a postseason game after eight years without being able to achieve it.

In the meantime, Russell Wilson, the starting quarterback for Pittsburgh last week, signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants, further clearing the way for Rodgers to take the central role in Tomlin’s team.
