After a season of uncertainty, Russell Wilson is reportedly narrowing down his options for his next NFL home. With the Steelers, Giants, and Browns all in the mix, the veteran quarterback is ready to make his move.

Russell Wilson seems to have chosen the New York Giants as his next team according to a report from Jeremy Fowler. Although his wish was to stay with the Pittsburgh Steelers, there hasn’t been a concrete offer for him to return.

According to Fowler’s information, Wilson is ready to sign at any moment and understands what the most logical destination for his future is.“I’m told that Russell Wilson sees the Giants as more of a viable option for him throughout this process.”

However, everything seems to depend on what happens with Aaron Rodgers. If the former Super Bowl champion chooses the Steelers, Wilson would likely sign with the Giants. If Aaron waits for the Vikings, Russ might possibly be looking for a spot with Pittsburgh.

Is Russell Wilson a free agent?

Yes. Russell Wilson is a free agent and has been very active trying to find an opportunity to continue his career. In fact, just last week, the quarterback visited the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns.

The big issue is that, considering Rodgers’ situation with the Giants and the Browns looking ahead to the draft, neither of them offered him a contract. Other names he competes with in this tier of free agent quarterbacks include Jameis Winston, Joe Flacco, and Carson Wentz.
