Mike Tomlin has made a definitive decision, and it seems no one will change his mind. The head coach wants Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a report by Gerry Dulac.

According to the information revealed during a Q&A chat, owner Art Rooney II will not stand in the way. ā€œMike Tomlin is the one who wants Rodgers, and apparently, the people in charge are not disagreeing.ā€

In fact, Dulac gave practically the same answer to two different questions. For Tomlin, the path to the Super Bowl is with Rodgers. ā€œMike Tomlin is the one who wants him and apparently nobody above him is strongly disagreeing.ā€

Is Aaron Rodgers a free agent now?

Yes. Aaron Rodgers is a free agent, which allows the quarterback to take all the time he wants to decide on his next team. We cannot forget that, according to a recent report by Tom Pelissero, the Minnesota Vikings have informed him that they are currently not interested.

That means Rodgers only has three options: the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Giants, or retirement. If Aaron wants to wait for the Vikings to change their mind if McCarthy doesn’t look good in training camp, he could end up without a team at all.
