Shedeur Sanders has been selected by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Just as rumors were heating up that the Eagles would trade for him, Cleveland jumped ahead of the Super Bowl champions.

Now, Shedeur joins a crowded quarterback room that includes Joe Flacco, Deshaun Watson, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel. The latter was selected in the third round, which makes Kevin Stefanski’s decisions surprising.

Over the past few days, the Pittsburgh Steelers seemed like the team most interested in drafting him, but after three opportunities, they did not. Now, Shedeur has the chance to revive a franchise just like he did at Jackson State and Colorado.
